Good day to you all! Mt. Hermon may be small, but it’s a busy lil place with lots going on. October was full of activities, and November will be as well.
Mt. Hermon was well represented at the Washington Parish Free Fair! MHS is very proud of the Cheerleaders and Dancers for being selected as the recipients of the Jaliyah Howard “Compete with Passion, Lead with Kindness” Award at the WPFF Hometown Throwdown! This special award honors the memory of Jaliyah Howard, a former FHS Showstopper whose kindness, positive attitude, friendship, and love for others left a lasting impression on everyone who knew her. This award is voted on by the participating support groups from all over the parish, which makes it even more special.
A big congratulations goes to MHS 1st grader, Aspyn Magee, for being crowned Little Miss Rodeo Queen of the WPFF! Also, MHS is very proud of Bella Boyd, 9th grader, for being chosen Most Photogenic in the Junior Miss Division.
Congratulations to Weston Fortenberry for winning the WPFF 5K for the third consecutive year! He had an impressive time of 19:07!
