Only one week until Christmas! Special thanks goes to Darlene Lilly Garcia for organizing the annual Christmas parade, Silver Creek Campground for the beautiful drive-thru light display, and to the Mt. Hermon Ruritan Club for the Christmas lights that you see on the poles as you drive through Mt. Hermon. Each of you are part of bringing Christmas cheer to our community, and we are very thankful for everything that you all do.

Mt. Hermon School
Students will dismiss Thursday, Dec. 19th at 11:30 AM for Christmas break. Students will return Jan. 8th. Report Cards go out on Jan. 13th.
Mt. Hermon Baptist Church
The deacons, along with their spouses, recently gathered with Bro. Ray and Mrs. Cathy Wuerzer at Bo’s Steakhouse for the deacons’ annual Christmas dinner. Those attending were Tommy and Celeste Hickman, Richard and Becky Foley, George and Jan Burch, Raymond and Fairba Cade, Clif and Fern Bryan. Special guests were the sweet ladies who are widows of former MHBC deacons, Marie Webb, Margaret Miller and Louise Holmes.
Mt. Hermon United Pentecostal Church
A candlelight service will take place this coming Sunday at 10 AM. Sunday evening at 6 PM, will be the “Hee Haw” Christmas program that you don’t want to miss. You are sure to have lots of laughs from the funny skits, and hear heartwarming Christmas songs to lift your spirits. All are invited for a foot-stompin, hand-clappin good time!
