Hopefully you all had a great Easter weekend celebrating the resurrection of our Lord. The sun glowed from above and it was a glorious Lord's Day. I was grateful to be in church. We gathered for a sunrise service outside on the church grounds. Following the service everyone enjoyed a bountiful breakfast meal prepared by the men. Sunday school was at 9:30 followed by worship at 10:30 a.m. Bryan and I had lunch at Café' Bouchee's. There was NO evening service. Easter Egg hunts were enjoyed by the children. They also have fun coloring and dying eggs and getting a pretty basket filled with all kinds of goodies. Easter candy bunnies are always a favorite treat.
The Easter Sunday sunrise service was well attended at Mile Branch on the fairgrounds.
The Annual Senior Adult Revival was well attended on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday April 7th, 8th, and 9th.
Monday service was at Franklinton First Baptist Church. Bro. Todd Allen brought the message. The music was by the Allen family and Bro. Calvin Crowe.
Bogue Chitto Baptist Church hosted Tuesday service. Dr. Bryant Barnes brought the message. The choir specials were good, led by Bro. Calvin Crowe, church pastor. The special music was by Mrs. Ann Forrest. She did a beautiful job singing, "His Eyes is on the Sparrow". I was privileged to attend this service and great fellowship time with several friends.
Wednesday service was held at Thomas Baptist Church. Bringing the message was Rev. Keith Sheridan. The music was led by Bro. Crowe, with Mrs. Powell at the piano. The schedule for each day began with fellowship time at 9 am. Choir practice at 9:30 am and service at 10 am. Lunch followed in the church fellowship hall. Everyday an abundance of food was available to enjoy.

Bryan and I have been enjoying the delicious strawberries. The ones from Ponchatoula were wonderful, big juicy ones. They make great desserts and et. Also are healthy treats.
Church family and friends extend Chirstian sympathy to Ms. Janice Schilling in the death of her son, Carl Ray Schilling, who passed away on April 26th at the age of 62. Visitation and service was at Crain Funeral Home. Lunch was prepared and carried to the home of Ms. Janice's. He will surely be missed by family and friends. Please pray for the family.
Take care, be safe and wear a smile. I'll visit next time. Prayerfully, Nell.
