Hello everyone! Hope this finds you feeling well. It's great getting to visit with you relaxing in your favorite chair/wherever you are.
School is out for the summer. Our last day for students was Thursday, May 22nd. My last day was on Wednesday. Everyone is looking forward to slowing down for a few days, maybe taking a vacation, or doing some chores around the house that are long overdue. to slow down for a few days, maybe take a vacation, do some chores around the house that are long overdue.
I've been mowing, picking up limbs. A few days ago I cut limbs in my yard. The next day I was itching like crazy. The more I scratched the better it felt. I discovered welps, and a rash. I guess it is poison ivy or oak. I've put all kinds of medication on it, but hopefully it will soon be well. It is miserable. Pray that I'll soon be back outside getting my work done.
Shelby Burch Jr. celebrated his birthday on May 8th and was taken out to eat at Bourne's. Attending were his children Barbara, Brenda, Charlie, Chris and Sarah. Also attending was Evelyn, Jose' and Brett. He enjoyed all the good food. Ha! Ha!
Miss Janice Schilling, son, Red, and daughter, Gwen, carried her out to eat at Bourne's for Mother's Day.
Lisa Miller was telling me about her Mother's Day. Ethan and his family were out visiting with them. They also visited with his classmate Alyssa Miller Sullivan and family. They enjoyed swimming and catching up on each other, it had been a while since they were together.
Mrs. Louise Hart was telling me about her recent vacation to Kansas. They visited with her sister, Martha and husband and while there they celebrated her birthday and wedding anniversary. Bennie and Louise Hart have been married for 32 wonderful years. Also going with them was her son Jamal. They all enjoyed BBQ and eating out and Mrs. Hart made her famous dish, chicken and dumplings. Everyone had a great time together on the six day trip.

Please pray for the sick, shut-is, lonely and the families who have lost beloved family members.
