Hello all! After this week we'll be saying hello to October. I know most of you are looking forward to the fair. There will be a change in the weather, especially at night. Some of us will be celebrating another birthday or a wedding anniversary.
Remembering my brother Troy
It's been a year since Friday, September 13th, since he passed away. We sure do miss him. I want to share a poem written for him by a friend.
In loving memory of Mr. Troy Ingram
"Remembering An Old Time Farmer Man"
Today we are remembering a special man.
A man that love his farm and working the land.
Oh yeah he worked hard,
And many times he would be so tired.
But no matter how tired he felt or worn
He got excited every time A new calf was born.
My son enjoyed working alongside him each day.
Milking cows so the community had milk was the Farmers way.
Even though he suffered pain,
He would work the fields again and again.
We are blessed to have such a country man
Who loves farming and tilling the land.
We remember how he loved eating good Home cooked food
His memory will live on
Long after he's gone.
Every time we see a bottle or jug of milk in the store.
We will remember him and the memories and so much more.
We was blessed the day.
A man like Mr. Troy came our way.
