The Washington Parish Schools were closed for the Washington Parish Free Fair all week of October 13th-17th. The students and teachers enjoyed a break. Some chose to go out of town for some R and R. All reported having a great time at the fair or on vacation. For most the week was full of fun and excitement.
Please pray for the sick, shut-ins, lonely and for the families who have lost beloved ones, our church family, our community, our country and each other. There is so much happening around us. Only God can take care of things.
"Smiling is Infectious"
You catch it like the flu.
When someone smiled at me today,
I started smiling too.
I passed around the corner, and someone saw my grin. When he smiled, I realized I'd passed it on to him.
I thought about that smile, then realized its worth, a single smile just like mine could travel round the earth.
Signing off for now. I look forward to visiting with you next week. Stay tuned, same time- same station. Take care of yourself and your family. Prayerfully Nell.
