What will we change? We surely can make a difference in our home, church, school, community, and our world. Treating others with kindness and respect is a great start. Let's all do our part in 2026.
Sunday, December 7, the men cooked breakfast. The breakfast was enjoyed by our church family. Then on Sunday, December 14th we had our church family Christmas dinner following the morning worship. The men cooked pulled pork, sausage, beans and potato salad. The ladies provided the desserts. Everyone enjoyed the meal and fellowship time together. There was no evening service.

A special thank you to the Mt. Hermon School, student council for a lovely time when we senior citizens attended the holiday gathering. The Mt. Hermon Baptist Church was the setting for the event. As we arrived, we were directed to our table and from then on, we were taken care of throughout the meal. They served a three-course meal which was delicious.
Mrs. Eran had 24 students that assisted her and did a great job. We also got our picture made with Santa and his helpers. Numerous door prizes were drawn. I even won a door prize. Our ladiesd attending were Frances Schilling, Fluorine Sorrell and me. A nice crowd was in attendance.
Let me tell you of a recent experience I had. My sister Jackie made an Elvis cake for Sherry Marguette for her 50th birthday. She had invited Nick Perkins who sings Elvis's music. Everyone enjoyed the music. To my surprise, there were people dressed as Elvis everywhere you looked. Remember, I did not know anyone there except Jackie. We were invited to stay. I even got to know Sherry a little and had some fun. Before leaving this person named Amber, I think, came up to me and called my name. By the way, she was dressed as Mrs. Elvis. We made a few pictures to remember the occasion.
Please pray for all the needs in our community and surrounding area.
Take care and have a blessed day. I'll visit with you in 2026 if the Lord permits. I love my time spent with all of you- you are special and I love you- Keep Smiling! Prayerfully Nell.
