January greeting to you! Hopefully the New Year is treating you good. For me, I'm hanging in there taking one day at a time. So far this year we have had a mixture of cold/warm/wind and lots of fog at night and morning. By the way the changing temperature is what keeps us sick. Remember we live in Louisiana.
Lorell Morris would have celebrated her 82nd birthday on January 12th. Over the years we went on several Diamond Tour trips o different states, an Alaska cruise and also went to Ireland. We went to see Vickie Lawrence, who plays Thelma on the T.V. show Mama's Family. For my 70th birthday she took and treated me to my first pedicure. She was in both of my weddings, and I was in her wedding when she married Richard Crain. One cold December morning of 2008 my phone rang at 5:45 am to find Lorell on the other end and told me to get outside it was snowing. When I answered the phone, she was singing, "I'm dreaming of a white Christmas". Lorell loved to cook and having family and friends over. She also loved going out to eat with her Red Hat sisters. The past few years we didn't get to go out of town much due to her not being able to drive. I would drive us up and down the streets to see all the Fall Displays and Christmas lights and decorations. Happy birthday sis. I love you!
