Hello to all of you! We have had some beautiful weather. By the way, hopefully you changed your clocks. Daylight savings time is finally here. Something we’ve all been looking forward to, another hour of daylight. Now all you eager beavers can see to work in the yard and etc. for another hour or so!
I enjoyed going to see my first baseball game Tuesday afternoon, March 3rd. MHS played Bogalusa. They played hard but did not win. By the way, Rusty Smith added a run to the MHS score. It was refreshing to sit outside, with a little breeze blowing. The girls were also playing in another field. My next game will be supporting the MHS girls softball team.
MHS students had a fun week celebrating Dr. Seuss week. Each day they could dress different. Monday was “Cat in the Hat Day”. (Wear favorite hat). Tuesday was “Fox in Socks” (wear silly or mismatched socks). Wednesday was “Wacky Wednesday (wear clothes backwards or inside out). Thursday was Thing 1 and Thing 2 (twin or triplet day). Friday was “Green Eggs and Ham” (wear green). Some of the students took full advantage and dressed the theme every day. Lots of unusual hats on Monday. The teachers also got in on the fun.
