Greetings once again! It's always great visiting with you. We thought springtime was here, then all of a sudden here comes the cold again. Remember this is Louisiana, I guess you could say it was an early Easter snap.
There was lots of damage in our area caused by the recent tornado on Wednesday night. My granddaughter Breanna lives in Jayees, Mississippi and the weather was really bad there.
I was at school on Monday, March 16th, about 9 am we noticed it was sleeting. Later we heard it was snowing at other places. My son Bryan said it snowed big flakes in Mississippi where he was working.
Kaleb Milligan celebrated his eighth birthday on Friday, March 15th. He and his classmates enjoyed birthday treats outside on the playground. He is in Ms. Jennifer Burch's first grade class at MHS.
I attended Revival service on Sunday at Lawrence Creek Missionary Baptist Church. I enjoyed the singing, preaching, seeing friends, and a delicious meal. I missed seeing my dear friend Ms. Linda Whaley.
Everyone is looking forward to next week, spring break.
Reflection: Tuesday morning, March 4th 2014, we had sleet and rain. The trees in my yard had so much ice on them, causing them to break. Limbs were everywhere. We also had snow that year.

Happy belated birthday to Ella Theresa Kemp who was 6 six years old on March 9th. She is the daughter of J,J and BaiLee Kemp.
