Greetings to you all!
Believe it or not, summertime is still in full blast. Some days are hotter than others. Hopefully you are doing fine and keeping cool.
The Watermelon Festival was held on the Washington Parish Fair Grounds on Friday and Saturday, July 10th and 11th. Lots of vendors were set up with all kinds of items for sale. Several items were on display for silent bids. I made a bid on a pretty watermelon cookie jar. I never received a call, so I guess someone had a higher bid than me. More about the festival next week.
So far students and teachers have been enjoying their time out of school for the summer. Some have been attending camp, playing sports, going to vacation bible school, traveling, spending time with grandparents and of course swimming and enjoying time with family and friends.

About this time two years ago, we had rain for several days. When the Lord see's fit for us to get rain, we get it. He must know that it is needed. Surely He knows what we need.
July 17th - 23rd, 2024 it rained seven days straight. On July 17th, we had bad weather and it also hailed.
