It's beginning to look like Christmas! Everywhere you look there's holiday decorations and twinkling lights that give you a joyous feeling in your heart. The hustle and bustle are on with much to do. There are only seven more days til Christmas and then a brand-new year. Where has the time gone? Well, the ole saying is, "time flies when you're having fun". I guess I've been having fun. Ha! Ha!
With Thanksgiving over I still have some things to write about. The family got together for Thanksgiving Day evening meal at the home of Frances Schilling. A nice time was had.
A Thanksgiving Day lunch was hosted by Charlie Burch and Jose' at their home. Family members and friends gathered for food and fellowship. Family members were Shelby Burch Jr., Barbara, Evelyn, Brenda, Sara, and Chris. I was provided to be with them. Their friends next door was also there. A blessed time was had.
The Council on Aging had their Thanksgiving meal a few days before Thanksgiving. Sheriff Jason Smith came by to welcome everyone. Little 6-year-old Clair Penton, Miss Elementary Louisiana 1st grade entertained us with her beautiful voice, singing. I enjoyed visiting with several. It was good to see my former Rutter Rex boss, Mr. Ross Mule' and wife Barbara. I have not seen them in years. I did not recognize him, but he remembered me and my name. I also met 2024 Belle of the Promenade Shirley Bakare' Acqah. She was in the younger group at the fair.

Please pray for those who are sick. Carl Ray Schilling has been in the hospital but is home doing better. Evelyn Burch has a foot problem. My sister Lorell Morris is still under doctor's care. Also pray for J.J. Duncan. I've heard that several have had Covid.
