Hello once again to all my faithful readers. I hope you're feeling fine. For me I've had a cold, nothing serious, but it has slowed me down a bit.
The MHS Student Council needs your help collecting items for the Pet Drive. Needed items are canned and dry pet food, blankets, sheets, towels, stuffed toys, shampoo etc. The drive will continue through the month of March. The homeroom collecting the most items will get a milkshake party. Let's pitch in and help them.
Happy March birthday to these special ones. Have a blessed day! My nephews Greg Seal and Randy Seal, my great nephew Jackson Luke Herring, my great nieces Marley Jewel Herring, Pippa Monroe Blush Herring and Krislyn Grace Ingram, Sara Burch, Chris Burch, Amy Lyn Miller McKinney, Isabella Grace Alford, Kenley Curole, Jo Ann Wells, Margaret Wells, Barbara Ingram, David Ingram, Jace Schexnider, Fame Miller, Jaslyn Miller, Peyton Miller, Ethan Kord Schilling, Stacey Miller Applegate, Chelsey Tynes, Missy Miller, Vanessa Fisher, Laynea Stafford, Bro. The Washington Baptist Association Women's Mission and Ministry Galventine's Luncheon was hosted by Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church ladies in Bogalusa on Saturday, February 15th. Ivy Kennedy presented over the meeting. Her devotion was entitled "The Beauty of Friendship." Valentines with our favorite Bible scripture were exchanged at our table and door prizes were drawn. February birthdays were recognized. We also sang to them.
Frances Schilling and I enjoyed the meal and being with ladies from other churches in our association. Everyone enjoyed a meal of pulled pork on bun, potato salad, bake beans, stuffed eggs and delicious desserts. To name a few were pound cake, lemon pie, banana pudding and king cake.
Ivy was happy to have 79 in attendance to share the joy of God's love with sisters in Christ and the gift of friendship. It was great seeing my new friend Connie Cranford and her daughter. Thanks to Ivy and the ladies for a pleasant time together. We also met the pastor, his wife and daughter.
My great grandchildren Alaya and Kalem Graham enjoyed a Valentine party at school. My granddaughter Breanna and husband Tyler Graham were a part of the entertainment for their parents' Valentine supper at church. She told me all about it. I wish I could have seen the skit.
Thought for the week! God's provisions are always greater than our problems.
Please join us in prayer for the sick, the bereaved, our missionaries and our country.
Take care of yourself and the family. I'll visit again next week, same time, same station. Prayerfully- Nell
