The Nation's Weather for Friday, June 9, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Thunderstorms can bring hail and damaging winds to the Texas
Panhandle and western and central portions of Oklahoma and
Kansas tomorrow. Showers and thunderstorms will raise the
risk of flash flooding in northern Montana. However, much of
the interior Northwest can have afternoon thunderstorms.
Meanwhile, thunderstorms are also expected to rumble to the
north of the severe weather in South Dakota and Nebraska.
Thundershowers can develop by late morning and continue into
the afternoon in much of New England as well as New York and
as far south as northeastern Pennsylvania. Elsewhere in the
Northeast, showers can dampen the region. Despite the
showers, some smoke will still be present, although there
will be less than over recent days.
