NATIONAL SUMMARY
With a developing storm system in the central United States,
severe storms will be a threat over a broad region tomorrow.
While a thunderstorm complex develops in Colorado and
Kansas, additional strong storms are expected across much of
Missouri and Illinois during the afternoon and evening.
Hail, damaging winds and isolated tornadoes will all be
possible. Additional showers and storms are expected across
much of the Southeast, some of which can produce heavy rain.
Conditions will be drier for most in the Northeast, though a
few isolated showers or storms cannot be fully ruled out.
Dry weather will be in place in the West, however high heat
will remain in place. While Seattle is likely to break 90
degrees Fahrenheit, cities such as Portland may reach the
triple digits.
