NATIONAL SUMMARY
Thunderstorms capable of producing damaging winds, flash
flooding and hail will rumble from southern Minnesota to
Wisconsin, northern Illinois and portions of Lower Michigan
tomorrow. Overnight, much of Iowa, southern Wisconsin,
northern parts of Illinois, Indiana and Ohio, southern Lower
Michigan, western Pennsylvania and southwestern New York
will have a risk of severe weather. Afternoon thunderstorms
will dot the Rockies and higher elevations in Arizona. A
surge in tropical moisture will bring locally drenching
thunderstorms to much of the western and central Florida
Peninsula. The recent heat wave in the Southwest and central
and southern Plains will expand into the mid-Atlantic and
New England. However, temperatures will not be quite as high
in those locations.
