NATIONAL SUMMARY
The Northeast and Southeast will have largely dry conditions
continue under high pressure tomorrow. Meanwhile, a potent
storm will bring showers and thunderstorms over a large area
stretching from southern Wisconsin southwestward through New
Mexico and western Texas. Some storms can bring heavy
downpours, especially in Wisconsin, Oklahoma and
southeastern Kansas. Rain and snow showers will affect
portions of Montana as another storm begins to develop
across the region. Meanwhile, some steadier rain can move
ashore in coastal areas of Washington and Oregon.
Temperatures will continue to moderate across the Southwest
and into the South Central region as a cold front continues
to cross the area. Temperatures will rise into the upper 80s
to lower 90s from southern Texas through Mississippi.
