The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, December 19, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Tomorrow, the Northeast can experience cooler weather with
temperatures 10-15 degrees Fahrenheit lower than today. Rain
and snow showers in this region will taper off through the
day. Dry weather will continue across the Southeast as an
area of high pressure builds across the region. This will
also provide plenty of sunshine, although temperatures will
be below the historical averages for Dec. 19. On the other
side of the nation, showers will continue across the West
Coast as a storm remains well offshore. There can be periods
of steadier rain, mainly in Northern California. In the
Northwest, rain could mix with snow or sleet at times,
mainly in the higher elevations. Across the center of the
country, dry and mild weather will continue, and the sky
will feature varying amounts of sunshine.
