The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, December 26, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A potent storm will bring a large area of rain and drizzle
from the Great Lakes, the Southeast and western portions of
the Northeast tomorrow. Meanwhile, snow and a wintry mix are
expected for the northern Plains and Upper Midwest on the
back side of this storm. In addition to the snow, windy
conditions will be in place, causing blizzard conditions to
be possible at times, especially in central South Dakota and
northern Nebraska. Breezy conditions can also expand as far
south as northern Texas and New Mexico. Another approaching
storm will bring rain and even some mountain snow to the
Pacific Northwest as another area of snow showers extends
into the Intermountain West. Elsewhere in the country will
be largely dry, with cool conditions in place for portions
of the Southwest.
