The Nation's Weather for Friday, March 29, 2024
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
The latest impactful storm for the West Coast will move
farther onshore tomorrow, delivering bands of rain and
mountain snow, sometimes heavy, centered on Northern
California. A complex pattern will lead to active conditions
for much of the rest of the West as well, with increasing
coverage of rain and mountain snow from Colorado to Nevada
and northward through the Pacific Northwest. Locations from
Arizona and New Mexico into the Plains should largely be
dry, but the far northern portions of Minnesota and North
Dakota are expected to receive some snow as a storm lifts
into Canada. In the East, brief showers will cross from
southern Ohio into West Virginia on the back side of a
departing storm that will bring rain and some high-elevation
snow to eastern New England.
