NATIONAL SUMMARY
As a storm remains off the Atlantic Coast, rain and snow
showers will continue across the Northeast and the eastern
Great Lakes tomorrow. Meanwhile, another storm will travel
across the western and central portions of the nation, and
severe thunderstorms will develop during the afternoon and
evening from Nebraska to Oklahoma. These thunderstorms will
be capable of producing large hail, locally damaging winds,
and even isolated tornadoes. This storm will continue to
spread rain and mountain snow across the Rockies, while some
rain will fall along the Pacific coast in Washington and
Oregon. Gusty winds will begin across the Plains, with gusts
up to 60 mph likely from New Mexico and Texas to Nebraska.
Strong winds and very dry conditions will lead to a high
wildfire threat from eastern Colorado to western Texas.
