NATIONAL SUMMARY
A cold front pressing east will spark heavy showers and
thunderstorms across parts of the southern Plains,
Mississippi Valley, Ohio Valley and interior Northeast
tomorrow. A few of the storms can turn severe, packing
damaging winds and hail. In the Upper Midwest, a storm
slowly departing to the north will bring rain to parts of
northern Minnesota, Wisconsin and the western Upper
Peninsula of Michigan, but it will taper off throughout the
day. A new storm spreading across the Northwest will bring
rain and mountain snow showers to Oregon, Washington and the
northern Rockies. A few showers will also dot the Rockies of
Colorado. In South Florida, there can be a few spotty
showers, mainly in the morning.
