NATIONAL SUMMARY
Tomorrow, Election Day, there can be a narrow stormy
corridor from Louisiana to Indiana and Illinois where heavy
downpours may affect those waiting in line outside to vote.
Meanwhile, rainy weather will be in store across the
northern Midwest and Great Lakes states. In the Southeast,
it will be generally dry with a spotty shower in Alabama and
Georgia. Elsewhere, a storm moving through the Northwest
will spread snow showers from southern Canada to northern
Colorado. There can be a few flakes in the higher elevations
of Washington and Oregon, particularly above 6,000 feet.
Extremely dry weather will continue in the Northeast and
with temperatures 10 to 15 degrees Fahrenheit above average,
it will feel more like late summer. Santa Ana winds will
begin across the high terrain of Southern California.
