NATIONAL SUMMARY
A couple of showers, some with thunder, will dot the
Southeast from Texas to the southern Appalachians tomorrow.
A storm in the West will bring rain and mountain snow to
Washington, Oregon and Idaho. Along the coast, rain can be
heavy at times and can lead to flooding in low-lying and
poor drainage areas. A quick burst of snow will move from
Montana to Minnesota that can lead to reduced visibility and
slippery travel. Meanwhile, some rain is expected to start
in New England. Temperatures will be mild east of the
Rockies, except along the Gulf and southern Atlantic coasts
where it will be warm. A very cold air mass starts its
approach from southern Canda and northern Minnesota. In
Northern California it will be turning warmer. There will be
a noticeable breeze in the Northeast and the Great Lakes.
