NATIONAL SUMMARY
Periods of light, lake-enhanced snow are expected to fall in
much of Ohio, western Pennsylvania, West Virginia and
western New York tomorrow. Most places can expect 1 to 3
inches of accumulation while those downwind of the Great
Lakes and Appalachians can receive 3 to 6 inches. Snow
showers can occur in Michigan, northeastern Indiana, eastern
Pennsylvania and much of upstate New York. Otherwise, much
of the country will be dry with the exception of Washington
where there can be some ice and snow in the mountains with
spotty showers around the Puget Sound. The Great Plains will
be relatively mild with high temperatures largely in the 40s
and 50s. The Northeast will remain cold with highs largely
in the 20s with areas near the Atlantic coast in the low to
mid-30s.
