The Nation's Weather for Monday, March 31, 2025
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Tomorrow, thunderstorms are forecast to span from the Gulf
coast, up the eastern seaboard into portions of the
Northeast. They may be severe and can bring flooding
downpours, hail, localized damaging wind gusts and isolated
tornadoes. The greatest risk of these hazards are south of
Washington D.C. through the Carolinas into the Florida
Panhandle. Otherwise, rain is expected across much of New
England, although some showers and thunderstorms can enter
western Connecticut and Massachusetts. The Plains and
Midwest will be largely dry and 5 to 15 degrees cooler than
historical averages. A storm should drench much of the west
with coastal rain, valley showers and a little mountain
snow. This is even the case for coastal Southern California
and the Los Angeles metro.
