NATIONAL SUMMARY
Rain showers changing to snow showers over the mountains
will impact the Northeast in the wake of an offshore cold
front tomorrow. Snow is forecast to spread through North
Dakota, South Dakota and portions of Minnesota, with rain
mixing in across portions of South Dakota in addition to
southern areas of Minnesota. Blizzard conditions are
expected at times both during the day and tomorrow night in
central North Dakota. Meanwhile, in the area from eastern
Texas to the Carolinas and Georgia, showers and
thunderstorms can be locally strong with locally damaging
winds and flash flooding. In the West, a storm will spread
snow into the Intermountain West, including in Idaho and
western Montana. Rain will also impact coastal Washington
and Oregon tomorrow night as a storm begins to approach the
area.
