NATIONAL SUMMARY
Much colder air will cause rain to mix with and change to
snow from north to south in the mountains of Wyoming and
Colorado tomorrow. By tomorrow night, even Denver is
expected to receive accumulating snow. Late-afternoon and
evening thunderstorms can bring hail and damaging winds to
central and eastern Oklahoma and northern Texas. Strong
thunderstorms will expand from Oklahoma to western Arkansas,
southern Missouri, central and southern Illinois and Indiana
overnight. A second area of gusty storms may rumble through
northern and western Michigan. A few thunderstorms with
locally heavy downpours will drench portions of the Florida
Peninsula. Meanwhile, fire danger will remain high in the
Southwest, with a second area of elevated fire risk in the
Sacramento and San Joaquin valleys of California.
