The Nation's Weather for Sunday, June 19, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A few stubborn showers will impact coastal New England
tomorrow with the remainder of the Northeast having dry
conditions. Showers are also expected to cross northern
portions of the Midwest, with any showers being limited to
northern Michigan and far northeastern Minnesota. Some less
humid air is expected to continue pushing into an area from
Virginia to Georgia, allowing lower nighttime temperatures
and low thunderstorm activity. Sunny skies and dry
conditions will take hold across much of the Southeast as
high pressure holds nearby. However, a few afternoon showers
and thunderstorms are expected across much of Florida. Heat
will surge north over the Plains, with any moisture joining
with the heat leading to showers and thunderstorms erupting
across portions of the Southwest and the central Plains.
