NATIONAL SUMMARY
Abundant moisture will continue the corridor of locally
drenching thunderstorms along the Gulf Coast from
southeastern Louisiana to the Florida Panhandle tomorrow. By
the afternoon, thunderstorms with heavy rain could extend as
far north and east as coastal South Carolina. Meanwhile,
thunderstorms are expected to rumble from southeastern
Minnesota and much of Wisconsin southward into Iowa and
northern Illinois. Storms are expected to be most numerous
in southern Wisconsin and northern Illinois. Late-day
thunderstorms will develop in eastern Montana and could
contain hail and damaging winds. The storms will then move
into the western Dakotas and northwestern Nebraska during
the evening hours. Searing heat will continue to bake the
southern Plains.
