NATIONAL SUMMARY
A potent storm in the Pacific Northwest tomorrow will begin
to sink farther south, dropping heavy rainfall over
Washington and coastal Oregon. There will be an enhanced
risk for flooding, especially in coastal and poor drainage
areas. A weak system will continue to push into the east
tomorrow as well, leading to spotty showers from Illinois
to New York to Georgia. There could be some thunder as
well, mainly contained to Georgia and South Carolina in the
afternoon. Some showers or even thunderstorms are expected
to pop up in the late afternoon in southern and western
Texas. While there can be a stray shower along the eastern
coast of Florida as well, the rest of the lower 48 is
expected to remain dry. Much of the Northern tier and East
will experience slightly warmer than normal temperatures.
