NATIONAL SUMMARY
A major storm will spread locally heavy snow across central
and southern Missouri and northern Arkansas tomorrow. Travel
will be difficult to dangerous, and the snow could be heavy
enough to strand vehicles. Regardless, roads and sidewalks
will be snowpacked and slippery. A mix of rain and snow
will stretch from central Arkansas to central Tennessee
before precipitation changes to snow overnight. Rain will
soak a swath from southern Arkansas to south-central
Tennessee and northern Alabama. Even farther south,
thunderstorms are expected to rumble along the Gulf Coast
from southern Louisiana to southern Alabama, and some storms
may be severe. Meanwhile, strong winds will buffet a large
area from southern Nebraska to South Texas and as far east
Mississippi.
