The Nation's Weather for Sunday, November 27, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A potent storm will overspread much of the eastern United
States tomorrow and usher in a wide swath of rain. Areas
from Chicago to Philadelphia and New York City will contend
with rain for much of the day, likely slowing down travel on
one of the busiest travel days of the Thanksgiving weekend.
Rain can be heavy at times along the Interstate-95 corridor
from Washington, D.C., to New York City and lead to ponding
on roadways and poor-drainage areas. On the western side of
the storm, snow may mix with rain for a time for portions of
Wisconsin and Michigan. Dry weather is finally in store for
the southern Plains after days of adverse conditions.
Farther west, another storm will enter the Pacific
Northwest. This storm will bring heavy snow to the highest
elevations of the Washington Cascades.
