NATIONAL SUMMARY
A large storm system will move from the Pacific onto the
West Coast, bringing rain and mountain snow to the region.
Rain may encompass nearly the entire coast tomorrow,
stretching from Washington to Southern California. Rain
will be heaviest and steadiest in Northern California. In
the Sierras, steady and heavy snow could lead to over a
foot of additional accumulation. Snow is also expected in
much of northern Nevada. Idaho, Wyoming, and southwest
Montana. Farther south, showers are likely across much of
Arizona and Nevada. Towards the east, rain will move into
Arkansas and eastern Oklahoma during the morning, with
showers overspreading the Tennessee Valley by afternoon.
In Upstate New York, snow showers are possible to the east
of Lake Ontario, with minor accumulations.
