NATIONAL SUMMARY
Morning snow, or rain changing to snow could cause slippery
conditions in Massachusetts, Connecticut, Rhode Island, New
Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland and
northern Virginia tomorrow. Rain may change to snow as far
south as south-central Virginia, but temperatures are
expected to be above freezing there. A bit of snow at times
is also forecast downwind of the Great Lakes. Periods of
rain will dampen a zone from North Carolina to the Florida
Panhandle, as well as South Texas. Some ice will be possible
on the northern fringe of the precipitation in central
Texas. Rain and mountain snow will return to Washington,
northern Oregon and northern Idaho. Frigid air will keep
temperatures below zero in northeastern North Dakota and
northern Minnesota.
