NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm system is set to take shape in the central United
States tomorrow, bringing a wide range of hazards along with
it. Accumulating snow is likely in the northern Plains and
Upper Midwest, with the potential for totals over 6 inches
in some areas of South Dakota. Rain is likely across
southern Iowa and Missouri, and thunderstorms are likely to
extend from Texas to eastern Tennessee. A few storms may
turn severe, with strong wind gusts and hail being the
primary threats. Periods of rain are likely along the Oregon
and Washington coasts, with snow showers in the Cascades and
Great Basin. Conditions will remain dry across the
Southwest.
