Sign Up dates set for Fair Better Baby Contest

Sign Ups for the 2022 Washington Parish Fair Better Baby Contest will take place in front of the Fairgrounds stage on September 25th from 2-4pm, October 2nd 2-4pm, and the final day for sign-ups will be October 9th from 1-5pm.
The contest will be held on Monday October 17th, with the time to be announced.

Registration deadline approaching for "Team Up To Clean Up" event

The Franklinton Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Franklinton, and AMwaste management are presenting the first of what is expected to becomee an annual “Team Up to Clean Up Day and Movie Night.’
This event, Team Up to Clean Up, will take place October 8th from 8:00 am - 2pm, ending with a free Movie night at 6:45 pm.

Winbury Club meets at Magee house

The Winbury Club held its initial meeting of the 2022-2023 club year at the home of Hallene Magee on August 25. Guest speaker was Penny Jones, Chairperson of the Community Pride Committee with the Franklinton Chamber of Commerce, who spoke on the upcoming "Team Up to Clean Up" event slated to take place on October 8 from 8 AM to 2 PM.
