"Team up to clean up: coming to Franklinton in October

The Franklinton Chamber of Commerce, the Town of Franklinton, and AMwaste management are excited to present the first annual “Team Up to Clean Up Day and Movie Night.’
This event, Team Up to Clean Up, will take place October 8th from 8:00 am - 2pm, ending with a Movie night at 6:45 pm.

Game of the Week - Franklinton at Bogalusa. This game will probably be my game of the week every year. This year it means a lot to both teams. The Demons haven't won this series since 2018 and need a win period making this game ultra important for them.

Concern raised about football game after latest Bogalusa murder

The epidemic of violence continued in Bogalusa, when an unidentified man was shot and killed this past Saturday evening.
Bogalusa police have identified a suspect in the homicide and as of press time they were still seeking him. The suspect was identified by Bogalusa police as Dae’Von J. Gay, age 20.
