Join us on June 13, 2026, anytime from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. on the green space, in rear of the museum annex, for a presentation by various historians discussing weapons, military attire, wars, and much more. Elements of the 7th Louisiana Infantry and 1st Special Battalion will be conducting a static living history as part of the military exhibit. Geoff Crow will present a WWII display along with discussions on many types of weaponry throughout America's history.
On June 14, 2026, at 2 p.m. in the museum annex, Robert Freeland, a historian from New Orleans, will give a presentation on our part in the American Revolution along with other discussions regarding Louisiana's history.
Our Military Exhibit is available for viewing during the months of May and June on weekends. Our museum is open to the public on Saturday, 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. and on Sunday, 1 p.m. till 4 p.m. and is FREE to the public. Donations are accepted but not required. We will be closed for Father's Day weekend.
