Bryan Henry Schexnider, Sr. went to his Heavenly home on Monday November 13, 2023 at the age of 64. He was born in Port Sulfur, Louisiana on December 26, 1958 and was a longtime resident of Mount Hermon. Bryan was a beloved husband, dad, paw paw, brother, friend and “Daddy Bryan” to many. He loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, family and friends. Bryan spent many hours attending ballgames, church, playing his guitar, fishing and watching old western movies and TV shows. He was an active member of Deliverance House of Prayer in Mt. Hermon. Bryan will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Daughters and Sons in law: Jennifer and Jimbo Smith, Jessica and Derek Pardee all of Mt. Hermon
Son: Bryan “B.B.” Schexnider, Jr. of Mt. Hermon
Grandchildren: Joycelynn Smith, Lana Pardee, Lynden Pardee, Brylan Schexnider
Brothers and Sisters in law: Jay and Delores Schexnider of Mt. Hermon, Roy, Jr. and Samian Schexnider of Marrero
Sister: Judy Jones of Bogalusa
Also numerous brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces and nephews
He was preceded in death by his parents Roy Schexnider, Sr. and Agatha Santini Schexnider, sister Miranda Holmes, mother in law Joyce Sheridan, father in law Joseph Roberts, sister in law Shannon Friloux.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home (1109 Bene Street, Franklinton) on Monday November 20th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Monday with Bro. James Wilbanks and Bro. Bartley Clark officiating. Burial will follow in the Mount Hermon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family prefers memorial donations to help with final expenses.
