Calvin Edgar Massengale was born on September 13, 1961, in Columbia, MS, and lived his life in Franklinton, LA. He was a free spirit who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially being outdoors. He was crafty and you could often find him creating new projects and perfecting old ones.
Beginning as a child, he enjoyed fishing, walking creeks and riverbeds finding treasures from the past, his favorite being bottles. Calvin was one of a kind, sweet, quick witted and will truly be missed. He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Massengale; 2 granddaughters, Aubrey Holloway and Madison Holloway; 6 siblings, Brenda (Louis) Sinesi, Karen Adams, Joan Rice, James (Twana) Massengale, Davin (Kimberly) Massengale, and Kristi (David) Miranda.
He was proceeded in death by his mother, Lyvonne Lee Massengale; his father, Calvin Massengale; aunts and uncles, Ada Kingsland, Mary Cooper, George Massengale, Ruby Lewis and Lucile Ward.
There will be a celebration of life announced at a later date.
