Eria Jean Brooks Parker, 67, a resident of Franklinton, passed away early Friday morning July 15, 2022 at her home following a lengthy illness. She was a native of the Spring Creek Community and graduated from Spring Creek High School. Jean worked as a bookkeeper most of her life and was a longtime employee of Sunflower Grocery Store in Kentwood. She always enjoyed looking at her beautiful flowers and loved listening to her favorite music.

Also numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and step-father Margarite Crawford Brooks Fontenot and Rogers Fontenot, father George Brooks, Jr., grandparents Willie and Geneva Crawford, Albert and Betty Brooks.
Following a private family service, Jean will be laid to rest in the Bolivar Baptist Church Cemetery.
