Gary David Smith, 68, a resident of the Seven Mile Road Community passed away Wednesday May 15, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born July 30, 1955 in Bogalusa and was retired after a long career as a commercial truck driver. Gary was a faithful member of Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church that loved the Lord and his church family.

3 Sons and Daughters in law: Daniel and Linda Smith of Seven Mile Road, William and April Smith of Thomas, Shaylon and Charley Sharpe of Seven Mile Road Daughter: Blanca Martinez
Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren
Sister and brother-in-law: Carolyn and Charles Williams

He was preceded in death by his parents Leroy Smith and Mildred Stanford Smith, mother-in-law Emma Sharpe and great-granddaughter Everly Pilkington.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Friday May 17th from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Saturday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 am Saturday with Eld. Tommy Hudnall, Eld. Doyle Ball and Eld. Matt Williiams officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
