Gary Wayne Forbes Sr., 52, a resident of Pine died Sunday afternoon October 24, 2021 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. He worked as a millwright and welder at the International Paper mill in Bogalusa for 25 years. Gary loved trail-riding and had many mules and horses through the years. He was known as “Mule Skinner” to his trial buddies. Gary enjoyed listening to his favorite old country music and looking at classic muscle cars. He loved spending time with his young grandchildren and nieces and nephews. He always liked playing with the children and making them laugh.

3 Sons and Daughters in law: Tyler Forbes, Reno and Kayla O’Brien, Gary Forbes, Jr. and Lexie Forbes all of Franklinton
Daughter: Candance Morrow of Port Sulphur
3 Grandchildren: Dailyn O’Brien, Karsyn O’Brien, Paisleigh Forbes
Brother: Carley Provost
Special Niece and Nephew: Trinity Wallace, Dominic Seal
Also numerous other nieces, nephews and family members
He was preceded in death by his parents Roy Forbes and Wilda Jarrell Forbes, sisters Christy Provost, Carla Provost, Sonia Forbes, grandparents Buster and Myrtle Jarrell.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Saturday October 30 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Saturday.
