John Hubert Bennett, 57, a resident of Franklinton passed away Tuesday November 28, 2023 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. He was a lover of all kinds of music, always listening and singing along. In New Haven, Connecticut John competed in the Special Olympics playing bocce ball. There, he met music artist Tracy Byrd and had the opportunity to sing with him. John will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

2 Sisters and Brothers in law: Theresa and Marlin McFadden, Leslie Bennett and Eddie Zito
Brother: Kevin Bennett
Uncles and Aunts: James Benny Guillory and wife Nina Guillory, Bonnie Loftus and husband Patrick Loftus
Also numerous other nieces, nephews and many dear friends
He was preceeded in death by his parents Leslie Eugene Bennett and Emmarella Guillory Bennett, sister Emma Bennett Alsbrooks Zito, grandparents Carroll Guillory and Nora Dell Fontenot Guillory, Issac and Annie Bennett.
The family would like to sincerely thank all of the wonderful staff at Heritage Manor Nursing home.
