Joseph L. “Jody” Oncale, 51, a resident of Franklinton died early Thursday morning December 30, 2021 at his home. He worked off-shore as a production foreman for the Wood Group and loved playing golf in his free time. Jody enjoyed fishing and woodworking, making items like picnic tables to be raffled off for charity work and other causes. He also enjoyed gardening, shooting his guns and grilling food for his family and friends. Jody liked working with his hands and could build just about anything. He cherished the time spent with his beloved family.

He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father Katie Miller White and Butch White, father William “Bill” Oncale and brother Derrick White.
A memorial service for family and friends will be held at Crain Funeral Home on Saturday January 8th. Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am with the service to be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am with Mr. James Handy officiating.
