Judy Diane Varnado Mulina, 71, a resident of Franklinton died Wednesday evening January 26th at Riverside Medical Center after a lengthy illness. She was a graduate of Franklinton High School before working at Winn-Dixie in Franklinton for several years. Judy later worked as a bank teller for Washington Bank, People’s Bank and others for many years. As a young adult, Judy sang gospel music with The Varnado family, performing shows and even making a few albums. She loved cooking for her family and baking cakes for birthdays and other special events. Judy enjoyed tending to her beautiful roses and visiting with her friends and family.

Brothers and Sisters in law: Rodney and Virginia Varnado of Franklinton, Dale and Frances Varnado of Leesville
Sister in law: Yvonne Varnado of Franklinton

She was preceded in death by her husband Kendall Mulina, parents Austin Varnado and Ella Simmons Varnado, brother Winfred Varnado
A graveside funeral service will be held in the Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery at 3:00 pm Saturday January 29th with Bro. Dale Varnado officiating.
The family was served by Crain Funeral Home of Franklinton.
