Sherry Delane Hartfield, 64, a resident of Franklinton passed away Thursday afternoon July 28, 2022 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. She was a correctional officer at Rayburn Correctional Center for the last six years. Sherry also worked for many years delivering mail for the Folsom Post Office and also worked at the Southeast Louisiana Hospital for a time. She always enjoyed having fun with her friends and traveling to the casino. Sherry loved spending time with her grandchildren and hanging out with family.

Also numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sons Joshua Seal and Mitchell Dickerson, parents Bruce Dickerson and Clarice Owens Dickerson, sister Barbara Smith, step-brothers Terry O’Keefe, Dennis O’Keefe.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Monday August 1st from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Tuesday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am Tuesday with Rev. Walter Mixon and Rev. Donnie Miller officiating. Burial will follow in the Bonner Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be honor guard members of the TAC Team at Rayburn Correctional Center.
