Tamola Talley Thomas, 55, a resident of Pine passed away late Tuesday night March 26, 2024 at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans. She attended Franklinton High School where she danced with the Demonettes and also participated in various beauty pageants as a young woman. Tammy was always a very friendly person and she had an infectious smile that greeted everyone she met. She enjoyed making crafts and spending time with her beloved family but her favorite pastime was spoiling her young grandchildren.

Grandchildren: Barrett James Newman, Kennedy Blair Newman
Mother: Vergie Bennett Dickerson of Holden
Father and Step-mother: Herbert and Peggy Talley of San Antonio, TX
Sisters and a Brother in law: Bobbie Jo Waller of Tickfaw, Caroline and Shayne Thomas of Holden, Nancy Truby of Texas
Brothers and a Sister in law: Herb and Stephanie Talley of Franklinton, Mark Talley of Texas
Special Cousin: Julie Revere Gilland of Franklinton
Also numerous nieces, nephews and cousins
She was preceded in death by an infant sister, grandmother Rev. Ester Hammond and other family members.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home on Saturday March 30th from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm Saturday with Rev. Pete Bennett officiating. Burial will follow in the Nobles Cemetery.
