Wilton Leslie Hunt, 71, a resident of Franklinton, passed away Monday morning, March 25, 2024 at his home surrounded by his beloved family. He loved the Lord and was an active member of First Baptist Church of Franklinton. Wilton enjoyed singing, playing the piano and praising God. He was retired after a long career with Hunt Telecom, working alongside his sons, serving the Washington Parish Schools and countless other businesses and homes throughout the area. Wilton served his community and country in the Louisiana Army-National Guard and he enjoyed doing tractor work, cleaning up his property and building fires with all the limbs and sticks he collected. He loved to ride bikes and go hiking with his wife. Wilton was always a loving husband, father and grandfather that adored his family and cherished all the time they spent together.

Also numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends
He was preceded in death by a grandson Dylan Jacob, father Quincy, mother Ruby, brother Hardy, sister Faye Ruth and other family members.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home (1109 Bene Street, Franklinton) on Wednesday March 27th from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Thursday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am Thursday with Rev. Joey Miller and Dr. Jake Roudkovski officiating. Burial will follow in the Hunt Family Cemetery.
